Flipr measures water quality in real time, but measurements are sent and analysed at certain times:

  • Users of Flipr 1, Flipr 2, Flipr Pro, and Flipr Start with subscription
  • >>> You use Sigfox: as part of a good network coverage, Flipr will transmit its measurements every 60 to 75 minutes. Within an average coverage, transmissions may be less important (up to 1 or 2 measurements per day only).
  • >>> You are using the Bluetooth connection: the Bluetooth connection is triggered if the last Sigfox measurement is dated more than 76 minutes, OR if the last Bluetooth measurement is dated more than 76 minutes and there was no Sigfox update. Under these conditions, simply open the Flipr application and approach your Flipr. The information feedback is done in less than 30 seconds. Once the measurements have been updated on your smartphone, you can take a new measurement after 75 minutes.

  • Flipr Start users without subscription
  • >>> You use Bluetooth: The measurement sampling via Bluetooth is only triggered if the last measurement was made more than 76 minutes ago. Under these conditions, simply open the Flipr application and approach your Flipr. The information feedback is done in less than 30 seconds. Once the measurements have been updated on your smartphone, you can take a new measurement after 75 minutes.

Note: Whether it is a Bluetooth or Sigfox connection, Flipr performs a check-up of the analyses twice a day: in the morning and in the evening. Depending on the quality of the water, Flipr will then inform you of the actions to be taken.
